Mode, Median, Range
Data can be so hard to find
My math teacher hates it when he hears me whine
I have to take these numbers
And plot them on a line
Data can be so hard to find
Mode of data is so hard to find
I see it on tests and I’m in a bind
But it’s the number I see the most
When I plot it on a line
The mode’s NOT that hard to find
The median is so hard to find
But put the numbers in order from lowest to high
It’s the number in the middle
Didn’t take much time

The range is so hard to find
Subtract the smallest number from the number that’s high
As long as I can subtract
I’ll be just fine
The range is NOT that hard to find
‘Cause our teacher said all school year
“This will be on MSA!
So make sure you pay attention in class every day!”
So when the test is given
I know I’ll be okay
‘Cause data is not that hard to find!
